The ignorance of a Lakeland man was on full display, as he engaged in a road rage incident with passengers in another vehicle on April 20.
Polk County deputies arrested Warren “Chalmers” Orr IV, 25, of the 200 block of Greenwoods Drive in Lakeland and charged him with a litany of crimes stemming from the road rage incident.
Investigators say, Orr, who was a passenger in a vehicle leaving the Walmart gas station in Mulberry, jumped out and approached the car in front that was waiting for traffic to clear before pulling out on the road. Orr approached the car in a threatening manner, investigators said.
Orr did the same thing when the vehicle in which he was traveling, caught up with the victim’s car which was stopped at the traffic light at Shepherd Road and Imperial Parkway in Mulberry. Investigators learned that Orr was cursing and wanting to engage in a physical fight with the occupants of the vehicle. At one point, he punched the passenger window and grabbed it shattering the window. He also attempted to grab and punch the passenger, but the driver pulled away and escaped further physical confrontation and damage.
Orr was subsequently identified as the suspect by the victims. He was placed under arrest and charged with one count of burglary of conveyance, three counts of simple assault and threat to do Violence, three counts aggravated stalking and one count criminal mischief.
Orr was booked into the Polk County Jail on no bond.
Orr was recently arrested on March 31, 2014, for three counts threatening a public servant, one count of trespassing and one count disorderly conduct. He was released from jail on April 1, 2014.
