Kissimmee Woman Wins $1 Million Playing Scratch-off Game

The Florida Lottery announced that Rose Bolinger, of Kissimmee, claimed a $1 million prize in the $10,000,000 FLORIDA CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.

Bolinger chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $773,379.60. She purchased her winning ticket from 7-Eleven, located at 1300 East Donnegon Avenue in Kissimmee. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $25 game features more than 11 million winning tickets and more than $624 million in total cash prizes! The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-2.88.

Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 64 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $640 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2013-14.
