Kissimmee Woman who agreed to Sell Stolen Jewelry Arrested

A woman whose son’s friends burglarized a Kissimmee home is facing several charges for her involvement with the stolen jewelry.

Police arrested 41-year-old Beatriz Gonzalez, of Kissimmee and charged her with dealing in stolen property, tampering with evidence and contributing to the deliquency of a minor.

Cops said, Gonzalez son’s friends stole jewelry from a home in the 1300 block on Springfield Street on December 14.

Police also said, the two juvenile suspects agreed to sell some of the stolen items to Gonzalez who in turn agreed to sell the jewelry and split the money with them.

Gonzalez cooperated with detectives and the stolen items were returned to the owner.

Investigators said, Gonzalez was arrested on a $8,000 bond.

The two juveniles will also be picked up and charged with burglary, grand theft, criminal mischief and dealing in stolen property.
