Kissimmee Teen Shot Dead on his Way to Work

A teenager was shot and killed as he walked to the bus stop Wednesday, Kissimmee police said.

David Stiven Guerrero, 17, was on his way to work when he was killed.  He was found lying by the side of the road in the area of 2275 North Central Avenue, around 6:00 a.m., police also said.

Witnesses told police they heard a gunshot then saw the victim on the ground.

Guerrero was taken to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police have not offered a motive for the murder, but would only say the investigation is ongoing.
