Florida lottery officials recently announced a Kissimmee resident won $2 million playing Powerball. The winning was sold in Poinciana.
The winning POWERBALL with Power Play Quick- Pick ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Power Ball number.
George Stewart purchased his winning Powerball with Power Play Quick-Pick ticket from K&M Drugs, located at 395 Village Drive in Polk County. He claimed the prize at the Lottery’s Orlando District Office.
For selling winning lottery tickets, businesses get a bonus commission too, and the retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
Central Florida has seen a few millionaire winners lately, but from scratch-off lottery tickets, including a Volusia County resident from DeLand, a Lake County resident from Groveland, another Lake County man from Astatula, a Seminole County resident from Longwood, another Seminole County resident from Sanford, and another Volusia County resident from DeLand. A Riviera Beach resident also recently won $4 million playing Mega Millions.
