LeBron James led the Miami Heat to a 112-110 win in over-time against the Orlando Magic Monday night.
James scored 8 of his game high 36 in overtime, hitting his first two jumpers and went 2-2 from the free throw line.
“A win is a win,” James said in regards to just beating the lowly Magic.
“This is the NBA, teams play hard every night,” James continued.
Nikola Vucevic led the Magic with 20 points and 29 rebounds. The 29 rebounds is a new team record previously held by Shaquille O’neal (27).
“He played incredibly well,” Magic’s JJ Redick said post game.
Let’s put this in perspective. Vucevic finished with 29 rebounds. The Heat? 33.
Arron Affalo hit a big 3 with 2:15 left in the fourth quarter, giving the Magic a 97-93 lead.
However the Heat ended the game on a 6-2 run.
A Chris Bosh missed fadeaway at the buzzer sent the game into overtime.
Down one possession, Redick had a pass intercepted by Dwayne Wade who finished with a dunk giving Miami a 110-106 cushion with less then 30 seconds left.
The Orlando Magic (12-19) will host the Bulls Wednesday night, tip off set for 7pm.
James traveled then knocked the ball out of bounds at the end of the 4th qtr. both ignored by the refs. total BS.
