Key progressive organizers, strategists, social media organizers, and organization leaders are calling on progressives to unite behind the Biden-Harris presidential ticket.
Eighty-five key progressive organizers, strategists, social media organizers and organization leaders released a statement calling on progressive Democrats to unite behind the Biden-Harris ticket.
The group of progressives said reelecting Democratic President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris “is the best way to prevent the MAGA forces from taking control of America.” This show of unity comes as the Democratic Party is in disarray and in a panic about losing to former President and Republican nominee Donald Trump.
The progressive group not only believes Joe Biden is the best Democrat to win the White House, they believe Biden-Harris can also deliver wins over Republicans in both chambers of Congress, “a trifecta that could usher in the most progressive period in modern American history.”
The full progressive statement supporting the Biden-Harris presidential ticket said:
We, the undersigned progressive organizers, strategists, social media organizers and organization leaders, call on all of our fellow progressives to unite to support the campaign of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and go to work to do everything in our power to reelect the Biden-Harris team.
We believe that support for the Biden-Harris ticket is the best way to prevent the MAGA forces from taking control of America. And it is the best way to win a trifecta in November that keeps Joe Biden in the White House, maintains Democratic control of the Senate and elects a Democratic majority in the House – a trifecta that could usher in the most progressive period in modern American history.
We pledge to do everything humanly possible to mobilize the majority of Americans who share our values to vote this November and guarantee a sweeping Democratic victory.
