Thousands of Kennedy Space Center employees paid tribute to the 30-year legacy of the Space Shuttle Program when they stood side-by-side to form a full-scale outline of a space shuttle orbiter, outside the Vehicle Assembly Building on Friday.
The unique photo op was also designed to honor the many people who contribute to safely processing, launching and landing the vehicle.
