Kasie Helpz Kidz is a registered 501c3 organization dedicated to helping Kidz with cancer. We provide financial assistance to our families with children fighting cancer for medications, co-payments, and travel expenses related to treatment, helping to relieve some of the financial burden associated with this terrible battle of their life. As a two-time childhood cancer survivor myself, I know the stress that an entire family faces when their child fights cancer, and I know how expensive treatment can be. I began Kasie Helpz Kidz after going in to remission from cancer at age 15. I was determine to give back to the community and help with things I knew kidz with cancer and their families were struggling with. Kasie Helpz Kidz additionally provides emotional support to the families and kidz by having support groups, fun activities, and lifting their morales by sending a teddy bear to the kidz while in the hospital.
Kasie Helpz Kidz takes pride in making a difference in our kidz lives during one of the biggest challenges that they will ever face. Letting the kidz and families know that they are not alone by giving them the opportunity to spend time with peers and other families who are facing similar situations helps tremendously. And relieving a family of even a small portion of their treatment expenses can make a world of difference when a family needs to focus on their child instead of focusing on their bills. ??I just recently moved to the Orlando area and am really looking for volunteers and more awareness from the community.
