K9 Pantera recently got his first cocaine arrest in Central Florida.

Earlier this month, Lakeland police officers stopped 38-year-old Antonio Green of Lakeland in the 1500 block of North Florida Avenue for a traffic infraction.

K9 Pantera hit the street just weeks after certifying in detection and helped officers locate cocaine inside the vehicle Green was driving. Cocaine was located in three separate locations inside the vehicle, along with amphetamine pills, cash and a handgun.

According to local law enforcement, the cocaine was prepackaged in multiple small Ziploc style baggies of the same amount commonly seen in drug sales and distribution.

Green was charged with Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Sell, Possession of Amphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Keeping of a Public Nuisance Where Controlled Substances are Illegally Kept, Sold or Used.

“Way to go Pantera! Thanks for keeping our community safe,” the Lakeland Police Department posted.
