A juvenile is in custody, accused of attempted armed burglary and after firing several shots in the backyard of a homeowner at 7000 Hickory Ridge Circle in Pine Hills.
The homeowner told deputies she was cutting her front lawn around 10:am, on Wednesday, then went into her home when she noticed a young black male in her backyard.
Investigators said, the homeowner confronted the man, who then fired a shot at the ground. The homeowner, who was not injured, fled, telling investigators she believed at least two more shots were fired.
A neighbor heard the shots and called 9-1-1, deputies said.
Deputies who responded to the residence was able to track the suspect near Pell Mell Drive.
The juvenile, whose name has not been released, was arrested.
