CareerSource Central Florida is hosting the 11th Annual Paychecks for Patriots job fair dedicated to addressing the employment needs of service members and Veterans in Central Florida.
The annual event is dedicated to supporting Veterans and their loved ones to connect with jobs with local employers and receive information about resources available in the community.
Participating companies include Disney Military, Amazon, Addition Financial, Community Health Centers, Desoto Group, OMNI Hotel and Resort, UF Health Central Florida, and more, offering career opportunities as dental assistants, area ride and show technicians, daycare teachers, painters, transportation supervisor, school crossing guard, medical assistant and more.
Veterans from Lake, Osceola, Orange, Seminole, and Sumter counties are invited to come to this event, whether they are searching for their next job or transitioning to civilian life. All that is needed is to bring multiple copies of their resume and to be ready for interviews.
CareerSource Central Florida is committed to matching veterans with employers who value the knowledge, skills, and attributes attained during military service. Those interested in participating must register online.
Non-veterans are also encouraged to attend.
