Workforce Central Florida (WCF) will offer its Summer Job Connection program again in 2010.  It’s an employment program that will provide valuable summer work experience in local jobs for 545 young adults in Orange County between the ages 16-21 years.

WCF will make the employee/employer connections and write the payroll checks. Each of the 545 participants selected in Orange County will make $8.25 per hour and will work up to 35 hours per week for either six or 11 weeks.
In addition to the 545 young adults to be hired from Orange County, 75 each would be hired from Osceola and Seminole counties, 40 from Lake County and 15 from Sumter County–a total of approximately 750 jobs
Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis with the parameters of the program and county goals.
