After JetBlue flight 1052 landed at Kennedy from Pittsburgh, earlier today, a passenger got up to remove his overhead luggage, before the crew gave permission, reports the New York Times. Slater, who approached the passenger, asked that he remain seated, but the man did not and his luggage struck Slater in the head.  Slater asked for an apology, but the passenger decided to abuse Slater.

Slater then took to the public-address system and abused all passengers on board, then fled down the emergency-exit chute.

He was later arrested at his home in Queens, reports the New York Times.
