Join fellow golfers on Friday, September 17th, 2010 to recognize the life and contributions of Sanford’s Commissioner Jack T. Bridges. The tournament will be played at Mayfair Country Club, 3536 Country Club Drive in Sanford, Florida.
Check in for the foursomes will be at 7:30 am with an 8:30 am start time. The cost is $50 per person which includes the green fees, golf cart and lunch. Mulligans can be purchased at 3 for $10. Prizes will be awarded for the winning foursome, the longest drive and the shot closest to the pin. Registration deadline is September 13, 2010.
Jack T. Bridges, who passed away in March, graduated from Seminole High School, earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida and immediately served in the US Army as an officer. He was an esteemed lawyer and served his community as Sanford’s District 4 City Commissioner from April 2007 until his passing. Jack was a huge supporter of the youth sports programs in Sanford. Jack also enjoyed the game of golf so it is only fitting that the proceeds from this golf tournament will benefit the youth programs.
