‘I’ve been Kidnapped’: Drunken Man Lands in Jail after Calling 911

Lemuel Perez-Martinez

An intoxicated man who called 911 claiming that he had been kidnapped and tied up, ended up being jailed, Kissimmee police said.

23-year-old Lemuel Perez-Martinez called 911 around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, to report he had been kidnapped and tied up and was being held against his will.

Police went to the home in the 3000 block on Fox Squirrel Drive in Kissimmee, only to hear several males speaking in Spanish and laughing inside.

Investigators entered the home and determined that Perez-Martinez, along with twins, Joel Valdes-Delgado and Luis Valdes-Delgado, 32, were drunk and no one was being held against their will.

Perez-Martinez was still on the phone with the 911 dispatcher when police arrived, investigators said.

Perez-Martinez was transported to the Osceola County Jail and was being held on a $500 bond.
