Irish politician, Paul Gogarty of the TD Green Party, lost it recently in the Irish Parliament when discussing the dire economic situation in Ireland.
Not being able to restrain himself anymore and in the most un-parliamentary language, he turned to Deputy Stagg and said, “F*** you, Deputy Stagg”. He repeated it too!
The Speaker in the Parliament tried in vein to control Gogarty’s outburst, who subsequently apologized.
“I didn’t cause the economic mess,” said Gogarty. “The point is we are screwed as a county because of the wrong doing of others”.
Well, the U.S. is in very difficult economic straits and I wonder how that would play in the House or Senate? Besides, Gogarty’s words could very well apply to the U.S.
