The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting of a woman in Tampa.
Earlier this month on April 6th, just before 1:30am, HCSO deputies responded to the report of a shooting in the 9300 block of Michael Lane.
When deputies arrived, they discovered several shell casings in the street and one adult female victim inside of a home with a gunshot wound.
“It is one of our deputies’ greatest heartbreaks having to deliver the news to a family that their loved one is gone due to a senseless act of violence,” said Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Now, our detectives are tasked with the utmost responsibility of solving the unknowns around this investigation. We are committed to bringing this family closure.”
