The Crime Prevention and Awareness Walk and Back to School Supplies Drive is a collaborative effort between the Commissioner’s office, the Orlando Police Department, and numerous community partners. The purpose of this event is to heighten crime prevention awareness and to host a back to school supplies drive.
The walk ends with a rally at the Dr. James R. Smith Center amphitheater where 700 book bags/school supplies will be given to parade walkers.
