An illegal alien who was wanted for murder in the Bahamas was arrested in South Florida.
“No more island hopping for this criminal,” FDLE posted after the arrest.
Following a great investigative effort between FDLE Miami, Immigration And Customs Enforcement (ICE) and HSI, Aerlainsky Karistil, an illegal alien from Haiti, has been identified as a wanted murder suspect in the Bahamas.
Karistil was taken into ICE ERO custody and will be deported to Haiti and extradited to Bahamas to face the murder charge, pending an Interpol murder notice.
FDLE said it will not allow dangerous criminals like Karistil to endanger Floridians, adding that working with law enforcement partners means that FDLE holds murderers, like Karistil, accountable for their actions, regardless of where the crime was committed.
