How Does Orlando Rank for Brunch Lovers?

Orlando Brunch LoversTo many people, few things taste better than sweet, syrupy pancakes and crispy bacon after sleeping in all morning, so no wonder brunch is sought out by locals and tourists. Where in the U.S. can you get top-tier crepes and bottomless mimosas? To find out, LawnStarter ranked 2022’s Best Cities for Brunch Lovers to mark National Brunch Month in April. So, how does Orlando rank in terms of brunch?

Well, Orlando is not the top of the list, but does rank a respectable #5 overall. Orlando was just behind Las Vegas and Chicago, while New Orleans was the 2nd best and New York City blowing away the competition.

The survey looked for cities with delicious bites, brunch clubs, deals, events, and high local demand. For an even closer look at the national brunch scene, LawnStarter also surveyed American adults’ brunch habits and preferences.

Orlando Brunch Ranking in Some Key Metrics:

  • Establishments Serving Brunch per Square Mile – 1st

The key to restaurants having their brunch stand out?

“The most common ways I have seen restaurants best tout their brunch offerings are: 1) offering a wide variety of freshly squeezed juices both with and without alcohol; 2) advertising the availability of seating without a wait; and 3) featuring a variety of menu items including some that are a hybrid combination of both breakfast and lunch foods,” said Melissa B. Dallas, professor at Missouri State University.
