Principal of Mollie Ray Elementary School, Kathryn Shuler has been invited to visit the Governor’s mansion to discuss with Gov. Crist, how she was able to transform the school in record time. Mollie Ray Elementary School went from a grade “F” to a grade of “A” in a single school year.
In addition to that success, the school also met the federal standard of Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP).
Governor Charlie Crist has invited Ms. Shuler along with four other principals from across the state to Tallahassee to discuss best practices in schools.
Ms. Shuler will meet with the Governor on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 10 a.m.
