House District 35 Candidate Qualifies for Ballot by Petition in Record Time

The campaign for Marucci Guzmán in Florida House District 35 qualified for the ballot by petition in record time. In less than two weeks, the campaign gathered the required number of signatures, demonstrating strong grassroots support and momentum in the community.

Marucci Guzmán, a passionate advocate for hard working people of Orange County and Osceola County who served as a local nonprofit executive, expressed gratitude and excitement for the overwhelming response.

“We are thrilled to have qualified by petition in such a short span of time,” said Guzmán, who is a Democrat. “This is a testament to the commitment and dedication of our incredible team of volunteers and supporters who have been tirelessly working to connect with voters and listen to their concerns.”

The campaign has wasted no time in engaging directly with the people of District 35 – having already knocked on 1,500 doors, giving residents the opportunity to voice their opinions and engage in real conversations about issues that matter most to them.

“Connecting with voters at their doorsteps is an invaluable experience,” added Guzmán. “Our campaign is committed to being accessible and transparent, and this personal interaction helps us gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and aspirations of families and neighbors here at home.”

Voters are already responding enthusiastically to Guzmán’s message of positive change and inclusive representation since her launch. The campaign’s rapid success in qualifying by petition and engaging voters signifies a strong start and sets the stage for an energetic and dynamic race ahead.

As Guzmán’s campaign gains early momentum, the Democratic candidate said her team looks forward to building even stronger connections with the community, sharing her vision for the district, and working collaboratively to address the critical issues facing Central Florida families.

The date for the special election primary is November 7th for House District 35. The general has been scheduled for January 16th. Several Republicans and Democrats are already announced candidates for Florida House District 35.
