Homicide Victim, Others Identified in Ocoee Home Invasion

Police have identified the person shot and killed during a home invasion in Ocoee early on Monday morning.

19-year-old Alex Zaldivar was found dead after gunmen entered the home at 503 Bernadino Drive around 5:00 a.m.

Ocoee police say, two other persons were shot during the armed home invasion. They are: 23-year-old Remington Campos and 20-year-old Brienna Campos.  Both are in stable condition and recovering. 

Police have not released details of the armed home invasion, but would only say that the investigation is ongoing.

  1. No, this was NOT drug related. Despite the conclusions and presumptions drawn by those that have no facts, this was done to good people trying to do the right thing. Based on the long criminal history of Okafor and those who were involved with him, these animals should never have been allowed out of jail…shame on our justice system for protecting the criminals and leaving the innocent to suffer…My hope and prayer is that Justice will be served for ALL of the victims and their loved ones, whose lives will forever be changed…May God wrap his arms around them and bring them peace.
