Hispanic Heritage Celebration

WHAT:        The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is celebrating the Hispanic Heritage month.

WHEN:        Thursday October 15, 2009 – 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM

WHERE:        Orange County Sheriff’s Office Central Operations Complex – 2500     West Colonial Drive – The event will take place in our Training Room  #1  located on the first floor.

Entertainment:    Guest Speakers – John Musa & Jenny Castillo – Rumba 100.3
Folkloric Dance – Orlando’s Young Entertainers
Salsa Dance Demonstration – Salsa Heat
Music –    D.J. ACE
Mariachis – Voces de Mexico

Synopsis:        During September, 1968 Congress authorized President Lyndon   Johnson to Proclaim Hispanic Heritage Week.  The observance was  expanded in 1988 to a month long celebration.  Sheriff Jerry L.                 Demings invites you to join us as we celebrate the rich Latino heritage of both our agency and community!
