The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando (HCCMO) held its 2014 Political Hob Nob on Wednesday, in which 45 national, state and local candidates participated.
Nearly 400 attendees, composed mostly of HCCMO members as well as elected officials and community leaders, participated in the forum to connect with and learn about their local candidates. Candidates and their representatives interacted one-on-one with voters, also sharing their individual platforms during the traditional “Parade of Candidates.”
A straw poll was conducted by the Orange County Supervisor of Elections and attendees cast their vote in support of their preferred candidates.
