A 17-year-old Eastside High School star athlete who collapsed earlier this week, died overnight, school officials have confirmed.
Sarah Landauer, who collapsed on Monday night during track and field drills, was rushed to Shands at the University of Florida, after someone performed CPR and used an external defibrillator to revive her, gainesville.com reported.
Monday night’s collapse was the second for Laudauer in less than two weeks. Family members said she had been cleared to resume her sporting activities, reported gainesville.com.
