A Haines City woman was arrested Monday, accused of having a sexual relationship with a student, Polk County deputies say.
41-year-old Trina Rocker, of Hinson Avenue in Haines City was booked into the Polk County Jail with no bond. Investigators charged Rocker with 5 counts of unlawful sex with a 17-year-old student.
Detectives say, the relationship began with the Landmark Christian High School student last November and ended in May 2012.
Detectives also say, the victim’s parents discovered the relationship and confronted Rocker, who admitted the sexual encounters occurred while the teen was a student at the school. The teen has since graduated from the school and is no long in contact with Rocker, deputies say.
Rocker told detectives she was the secretary for the Landmark Christian High School located in Haines City.
