Hey, Florida Child Beater, Is This You? (Video)

Viewer Discretion Advised

Florida’s Department of Children and Families is notorious for letting child abuse cases slip through the cracks, often with deadly results.

According to the Department’s own figures, between 2008 to June 2013, there were 872 confirmed child abuse deaths, and in 437 of those cases the families were known to DCF, america.aljazeera.com reported.

Florida has recently touted the dramatic drop in child abuse deaths, but child welfare experts say, any drop has come from the manner in which DCF responds to abuse reports and changes to what is considered a death caused by neglect or abuse. As a consequence, the number of child deaths is artificially reduced.

While not unique to Florida, child abuse must be stopped!!
