Hey Dwight, Remember Us?

The Orlando Magic came into Sunday’s showdown with the LA Lakers a double digit underdog, nobody told them.

Jameer Nelson’s 19 points and 13 assists lead the Magic to a 113-103 win over the Lakers Sunday night.

Dwight Howard left the court after the game without shaking hands with the any of the Magic players. Even though it’s not like he has any close friends now with Orlando.

“I wouldn’t wanna shake hands after I lose too,” Glen Davis said post game. “No hard feelings, I’m not here to make buddies.”

Davis dropped 23 points and snagged 13 rebounds.

“The way we lost the past three games, I’m sure our fans just wanted to see us win in general,” Afflalo said. ” Affalo finished the game with 30 points.

The Magic out scored the Lakers 40-26 in the fourth quarter.

“As a team, our effort wasn’t there,” Howard said. “We have to start the game with energy and play the whole game the same way. We didn’t do that tonight, and they capitalized on it and they got a win.”

Howard claimed his first game against his hold team “wasn’t emotional.”

Kobe Bryant led Los Angeles with 34 points for the Lakers, now only 54 points shy of 30,000 career points.

The Lakers are now 3-4 under new coach Mike D’Antoni with another poor defensive showing.

Metta World Peace chipped in 15 points and Pau Gasol added 11 for LA.  Much was made post game if Pau’s poor performance.

“He needs to put his big boy pants on,” Kobe said of Gasol. “Stop whining and figure it out.”

Orlando’s next game is tonight against the Golden State Warriors, tip off set for 10:30pm.
