A shooter opened fire downtown Orlando shooting at least 8 people at high rise building at the Gateway Center at 1000 Legion Place around 11:30 am, today.
The Gateway Center is an office building and it is on lock down. Police went floor by floor helping people get out safely from the building. Several ambulances and dozens of police are on the scene.
Victims have been found on each floor of the building and persons have been taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC). ORMC is currently on lock down because of the situation. This means that nobody could come in or out.
It is believed that the shooter is a disgruntled consultant and is still at large. He is believed to be wearing a light blue polo shirt with jeans.
