Reigning NBA MVP LeBron James led the Miami Heat with 26 points and 10 rebounds.

New Heat addition Ray Allen scored 19 points to go along with Dwayne Wades 29.
In the much anticipated Allen and Celtics reunion, Kevin Garnett didn’t disappoint. While showing love to the Celtics before the game Allen was completely blown off by Garnett as he slapped his shoulder.
Allen’s first shot? Of course a corner three in which he made. Ray will bring a great shooting touch to this Miami team that struggled last year during the regular season from beyond the arc.
Paul Pierce finished with 23 points followed by Rajon Rondo’s 20 points and 13 assists for the Celtics.
Boston was able to out score the Heat 31-27 in the fourth quarter but it wasn’t enough. Even with James missing the final eight minutes due to leg cramps, the Celtics couldn’t get enough defensive stops.
Both these teams showed why most are picking them to meet in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Miami will travel and play the Knicks Friday night, tip off set for 8pm.
