Heart of Florida United Way Hires Two Team Members

Heart of Florida United Way (HFUW), Central Florida’s most comprehensive health and human services agency, has hired Traci Blue as director of the volunteer resource center and Daniel Jimenez as editor and writer. Blue’s responsibilities include engaging individuals and organizations in meaningful volunteer roles, and Jimenez focuses on developing content for web and print materials. 

Blue brings more than 12 years of expertise in the nonprofit sector. She previously worked for the Junior Achievement Academy for Leadership and Entrepreneurship (JA Academy) and A Gift For Teaching. She is also a member of the Orlando/Orange County COMPACT board of directors and serves as the vice chair of the UCF Alumni Community Volunteers Chapter.

Daniel Jimenez

Jimenez has 18 years of media experience, with a focus on public relations, journalism and marketing. He previously served as the communications director for United Way of Central Florida, and as a former board member of the Orlando Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Polk County chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association.
