Hawaiian Airlines Suspends Direct Service to Orlando This Fall

Hawaiian Airlines will be suspending all flights from Honolulu to Orlando beginning this fall, the company announced.

“We made the decision to suspend our Orlando service after more than a year of serving the Central Florida market,” Hawaiian Airlines said in a statement.

The last scheduled departure is on September 7th and the airline’s final return flight is on September 8th. Hawaiian Airlines said customers who booked a flight to Orlando and who will no longer be able to travel will get full refunds.

“This is a result of re-aligning our network to better meet strong demand in North America and resurgence of international travel,” Hawaiian Airlines continued. “We are grateful for the support from the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and the residents of Central Florida who warmly welcomed us.”

The re-alignment comes as travel rebounds from the COVID-19 pandemic.
