A woman from Illinois was arrested last Friday, accused of biting off a “large” piece of her boyfriend’s tongue, after the two got into a fight, following a Valentine’s Day outing.
Elaine Cook and her boyfriend went out on Valentine’s Day and when the two returned to her apartment they got in a fight, The Chicago Sun-Times reported.
Cook asked her boyfriend to leave. Â But before doing so, he leaned in to kiss her as he wanted to end the argument, the paper also reported. Â That’s when the 51-year-old Cook, bit off a “large” piece of her boyfriend’s tongue.
Cook was arrested and charged with aggravated battery. Â She is being held on a $100,000 bond.
As to the boyfriend who lost the right side of his tongue, doctors were unable to re-attach the missing piece of tongue.
