Habitat for Humanity Orlando is seeking women to create fundraising teams to volunteer during its 2011 Women Build Week (May 2-7).
Across all 50 states, more than 7,000 women volunteers are building and raising the funding needed to build affordable homes at more than 200 Habitat for Humanity construction sites.
Each group is led by a “team captain” and sets a fundraising goal (suggested minimum is $2,500), then participates in the week-long build.
Locally, Women Build Week is a great opportunity for team-building and networking, all while helping to build homes for hardworking Central Florida families.
