On Thursday, Orange County Sheriff’s detectives captured a fugitive criminal gypsy who had been on the run for over three years. Brenda Miguel was arrested around 4:30 pm, at the Baldwin Fairchild Chapel located at 301 N. Ivanhoe Boulevard.

On May 6th, at approximately 4:30 PM, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Intelligence Unit arrested one of the most sought after criminal Gypsies in the eastern United States. Brenda Miguel, a white gypsy female, 48 years, was arrested at the Baldwin Fairchild Chapel located at 301 N. Ivanhoe Boulevard in Orlando, under a fugitive from justice warrant from the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice.
Brenda Miguel had been on the run for over three years. She was wanted for a $300K+ ‘Sweetheart Swindle’ from an 83-year-old victim. An additional charge of money laundering was included. Miguel was in Orlando to attend the funeral of her aunt, Jessica Thompson, who died locally on Sunday. This is the first ever arrest of Miguel who is somewhat legendary in the Gypsy culture for her skill in the ‘Sweetheart Swindle’ con of elderly males. Miguel used many aliases to include:

Brenda Stevens
Brenda John
GIRL Z
At the time of her arrest she tried to use the name of, Tarina Ristick.
