A man who argued with his grandmother Tuesday, ended up killing her, Orlando police said.
27-year-old Shawn D. Fortner, a white male, was taken into custody in Sumter County, after he killed his 62-year-old grandmother, Phyllis J. France, a white female, police said.
Police won’t say how the killing occurred, but Fortner and France were arguing just prior to her being murdered. Fortner then fled the home in the 100 block of S. Lakeshore Drive in Ocoee in his grandmother’s vehicle for Sumter County.
