A Tampa jury on Tuesday found Grammy winner and Jamaican reggae star Buju Banton guilty of cocaine charges.
The guilty verdict came on the jury’s second day of deliberations. Buju was not found guilty of a fourth charge, possession of a firearm in the furtherance of a drug-trafficking offence.
Buju, whose real name is Mark Myrie, had his bail revoked and was taken into custody until sentencing.
Buju’s first trial ended in a hung jury in September of last year.
