Governor DeSantis Appoints Two to Florida Real Estate Commission

Governor Ron DeSantis appointed two members to the Florida Real Estate Commission.




Governor Ron DeSantis recently announced the appointment of Patricia Renna and the reappointment of Kelly Price to the Florida Real Estate Commission.

Patricia Renna is the Owner and Broker of Comprehensive RE Advisors. Active in her community, she is a member of the St. Lucie Realtors Association and the Florida Realtors Association Board of Directors. Renna has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, serving on various local, statewide, and national committees during this time.

Kelly Price is the Owner and Broker of Kelly Price & Company. She is a member of the National and Orlando Associations of Realtors and has been designated as the Top Residential Real Estate Company in Central Florida by Orlando Magazine since 2023. Price earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida and her master’s degree in business administration from Rollins College.




The Florida Real Estate Commission was created to protect the public through education and regulation of Real Estate licensees. The Commission consists of seven members who are appointed by the Governor. It is the regulatory body that protects the public by regulating real estate sales associates, brokers, schools and instructors. The powers and duties of FREC include regulating and enforcing license laws, enacting administrative rules, fostering education, approving applications, determining license law violations and administering penalties.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.

The Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) is headquartered in Orlando.
