It’s tax filing season, and Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is helping community members prepare and file basic federal returns. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program provides a safe and secure way for individuals making $73,000 or less to file their returns.
Through April 14th, VITA will be available every Friday from 11am – 3pm at the Taft Goodwill located at 1030 Crews Commerce Drive in Orlando.
Several important documents will be needed to complete the tax preparation forms, and spots will be limited.
Local residents can call 407-235-1541 to make an appointment. Walk ins will not be accepted. Specific entrance instructions will be given when scheduling your appointment.
