Go Home Juan Lynum, Your Wife Is Waiting For You

baby2Boo, hoo, hoo.

Juan Lynum didn’t get to win an election and now he’s having a temper tantrum.

Well, let’s be a big boy now, because big boys don’t cry.

And, come on Juan, did you really have to show up at Cynthia Harris’ home the morning after Tuesday’s vote with promises of a consulting position? Really?

Now you want Regina Hill arrested and Derrick Wallace, too. For what? Running a grass-roots campaign?

This only shows your desperation and sense of entitlement.

And, let’s face it, you really think you are entitled to that seat because you are, after all, Juan Lynum.

Maybe you didn’t get the memo, but here it is again: People hate your mom and the way she’s neglected the District for 16 years.

Look at the turnout Juan. Why was it so deplorably low? Because after 16 years of neglect and ignoring the District, people just don’t want you, a Lynum, representing them.

How is it that an upstart, poorly financed woman with a troubled past, like Regina Hill, can come so close to embarrassing the son of the great Daisy Lynum?

People remember her disdain and broken promises. The lies about the Venues. Shilling for DeVos, and the other big money interests. She forgot to leave the crumbs most ghetto politicians have the decency to leave on the table. But, not even that did she leave for what many consider Orlando’s version of the third world.

And what have you promised the voters? Nothing. Squat. Zilch.

And why? Because everyone knows you could care less about those people. You care less than your mom. So go home. Go back to your multi-million dollar waterfront mansion in Tampa. Your wife and daughter are waiting for you.

  1. Forgot to put “Paid for by Regina Hill and Derrick Wallace campaign at the bottom of this so called article. Also, does Sunrail support this and is taking a political stance in this race cause I see their ad here? Interesting…

  2. Haha…”Paid for an approved by Derrick Wallace” who will soon be charged with illegal campaign financing. We see who is behind this. Don’t sweat it Derrick. You’ll be able to afford the bond.

  3. Black TMZ wannabe is what this site is.There are some other businesses that should not put ads here either because there are so many garbage messages here causing controversy and taking away from the residents issues. It’s wrong and a lot of lies are published here. I wonder if Sunrail feels this way? Did they pay for this article in part or support it? Apparently because they got a big old ad right up here!

  6. This is a very good article. It speaks to the point that more than half of the district have chosen to go away from the Lynums’ sellout ways. I am in no way a fan of Ms. Hill’s because the community is headed for a difficult next few years under her leasdership as well; but in regard to the arrogance of Mr. Lynum and his mother’s misleadership, change is needed! Many of you would not vote for Jeb Bush based on his brother’s screwed-up administration but find it ok to support the son of the absolute WORST policitian in the history of Orlando-black or white. Mr. Lynum has bragged to many of his affluent lifestyle living in a palatial residence overlooking the water, unfortunately, those people are now witnesses in a FDLE investigation. I hope that they would not perjure themselves as he has done. I feel terrible for his wife and child who have to wait on weekends to see and spend time with him. Is there no work in Tampa for mediocre lawyers? Does the Lynum name not carry weight across the I-4 corridor? Or, has Daisy continued to hold white businessmen hostage like she did in the Draft Restaurant debacle and the Arena development? Maybe when he showed up at Cynthia Harris’s residence on Wednesday morning he was seeking her negotiation skills to help him out of his web of untruths. With that in mind, as a resident of D5/downtown, I am very concerned that the black community thinks it’s a good idea to support a legacy of disrespect, greed, cronyism, nepotism, and outright lies!! Where are the other leaders?!? Are they afraid of Miss Daisy and her “subtle” threats? All of District 5 should driving Miss Daisy and P-Boy Juan back to the palatial estate on the water to spend her retirement and get to know her grandchild, who apparently is “missing” a father. Ms. Hill ran a great grassroots campaign, I applaud her for her effort and encourage her if she is victorious to seek out competent and literate individuals to complete her team.

  7. I thought Daisy Lynum was suspect. I contacted her office back in 2010 after I found out the city was going to proceed with foreclosing on my house for code violations after I was told that they would not. I owned the historic house on Anderson street since 1991. I did a full renovation to this house restoring as close to its original style as possible. When I finished with this house, it inspired two neighbors to have work done on their homes. In 1997 I was arrested and ended up serving 10 years in the feds. I left the house which free and clear in the hands of my family who I thought were taking care of the house which I intended to live in and use as a stepping stone once I came home. In 2005 I was told that the city code enforcement came to my house after someone staying in the house with my sister called them. My sister had words with the code enforcement officer who started nit picking and placed a $50.00 a day fine on a door lock on a bedroom door and some other issues like my picket fence not having a gate. In August 2007, my mother hired a contractor without my knowledge with the purpose of bring the house up to code. By this time the hurricane knocked down a tree which knocked over the fence which was now included in this daily fine. She ended up paying this man who happened to be black $30,000.00 and all he did was gut the house and never completed any of the repairs. When I saw the house it was the day after my release in March 2008. I couldn’t believe what I saw. I contacted the code enforcement and explained what happened. I met the code enforcement officer at the house who started pointing out issues with the house and said the house will be demolished. He said if I was making an effort to make repairs the city wouldn’t continue was the foreclosure process. I immediately went to the city and got a permit for the house. I started working on the house at the same time trying to find this contractor who ripped off my mother. In October 2009, after spending time and money making repairs I was served with papers stating that the city was proceeding with the foreclosure on the house. I contacted Daisy Lynum’s office and explained this situation. She seemed like she was going to help but also blamed my situation on my going to prison. I was wondering who is this woman in the Parramore area that didn’t see through my situation and see the wrong in what the city was doing. I saw how the Magic area was being built down the street from my house and noticed the property that was being taking and now used for parking spaces for people going to the Amway. I realized that this woman was not protecting the rights of property owners in the Parramore area. I went to the city board and spoke to the Mayor and other representatives. I could see the look of shock in her face when I told her who I was and she gave a lame excuse. I knew at this moment that she was full of it. I fought the city but they foreclosed on the house but have not demolished it because it is on the National Historic registry. I also pretty much told them that if they touch the house it would be the equivalent of placing a curse on the city of Orlando. I don’t know her son but if his idea of representing the Parramore area was based solely on being her son than that is a poor excuse for representing people who need a representative without any special interest other then the people of Parramore.
