Jochen Naumann, 37 years, a German resident, was going through the security checkpoint at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom this morning, November 29th around 10:22 AM, when he casually advised a Walt Disney World cast member that he had two bombs in his back pack.  When the startled cast member questioned the Leipzig, Germany resident’s remark he once again stated that there were two bombs in his back pack.

The cast member immediately contacted an Orange County Deputy who was posted near the checkpoint who secured Naumann and summoned a bomb dog to check the bag.  After the dog failed to alert on the backpack deputies searched the bag and found that it contained no explosive devices.

Suspect Naumann was taken to a security office on Disney property, read his Miranda rights, and interviewed by Sheriff’s Deputies.  During the interview he claimed he was only joking about the devices.

Deputies arrested Naumann for Making a False Report of a Bomb and transported him to the Orange County Jail.
