“Iveria,” a Georgian Youth Performing Group, will visit the United States from Russia during the period November 8 to 22nd.  The Ensemble will perform and conduct a series of workshops at several venues in Orlando, including Evans High School, Mall of Millenia, All Saints Academy, Winter Park Rotary Club in east Orange County and St. Augustine, Florida, among other venues.
Founded in St. Petersburg in 2002, “Iveria” will show off Georgian tradition and culture through dance and song. The group aims to familiarize audiences with Georgian folk art and to impart to others a sense of tolerance and respect for different cultures.
Prior to visiting Orlando, “Iveria” is scheduled to perform in New York and Washington, D.C.
