Gasoline prices in Florida have increased by 16 cents in the last week. A little over seven days ago, the price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $2.08. Currently it is $2.24 a gallon and 2 cents higher than the national average of $2.22
The rise in gas prices has been due to an increase in oil and gas futures. Many also predict that the price will continue to rise with the summer approaching when a lot more driving is done. The likely increase demand usually pushes prices higher.
