Over the past year, everyone has tried to curb spending. For families, this may result in limiting the activities they share together. For a family of four, the average cost of dinner and a movie is $120. Many families simply don’t have that kind of money. As a result, they end up staying at home.
While that might be a less expensive alternative, what is a family to do? Just sitting at home left to one’s own devices isn’t terribly satisfying for parents or children. Many parents feel they owe it to their families to provide enriching and stimulating opportunities, rather than rely on television and video games to pass the time.
Palm Bay craftsperson, Kristeen Beck, believes she has the inexpensive alternative families need right now: Family Scrapbooking Nights!
At a Family Scrapbooking Night, families get together with their photos and scrapbooking supplies. First, they decide on a theme. Next, they decide on the photos they’re going to use. Then, together, they design and assemble their pages. This type of event allows families to relive some happy memories… and create a few new ones, as well!
“Family Scrapbooking Nights give your family a chance to reminisce about the memories you have created together,” says Beck. “Scrapbooking Nights are inexpensive ways to spend quality time together while developing new memories and a new tradition.”
Family Scrapbooking Nights provide quality, low-cost together-time that parents and children desire and deserve. Additionally, it gets those photos out of the boxes and into a personalized scrapbook!
