An Orlando Frontline Innovation Studios alumnus was recently awarded a $20,000 scholarship after being a dedicated leader to younger students.
On Thursday, May 23rd, Frontline Innovation Studios (FIS) celebrated the graduation of its latest cohort and presented former student, Desiree Moore, with a $20,000 scholarship. Desiree, a recent graduate of Orlando Science High School, has been a dedicated leader to younger FIS students for the past two years. She is set to embark on her academic journey at the University of Central Florida in the Fall, where she will pursue a degree in the medical field.
The event highlighted the students’ achievements, showcasing the innovative projects and skills they have acquired over the last 15 weeks.
Frontline also recognized the exceptional accomplishments of its students and instructors. Christian Middleton, the coding and robotics instructor, was among the number of those recognized. He recently graduated with his bachelor’s degree in computer science from UCF.
FIS is committed to exposing Orlando students to cutting-edge technologies and preparing them for rewarding careers and has now reached beyond the program walls to ensure its students are supported as they strive to accomplish their ambitious goals. FIS is the catalyst of the Hope Center West ecosystem, where “Live, Work, Learn, Play, and Worship” continue to thrive within the Greater Washington Shores area.
