Orange County District 6 Commissioner Victoria Siplin, in partnership with the Orange County Citizens’ Commission for Children and Centerplate, will host a free workshop for local nonprofit organizations titled “Let’s Talk Money: The Earn-Keep-Grow of Financial Management for Nonprofits.”
The workshop will provide valuable information about funding opportunities and resources to improve and enhance the ability of nonprofit organizations to achieve their mission.
In addition, the University of Central Florida, Nova Southeastern University and the Citizens’ Commission for Children will present sessions on the fundamentals of running a nonprofit, effective grant writing, as well as provide crucial steps to manage and maintain their contracts, along with much more. Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes, including a free marketing consultation with a seasoned business strategist, advertisements in a local magazine targeting thousands of potential customers and free marketing materials.
