Former U.S. Navy Seals Conclude Cross-County Bike Tour in Fort Pierce

The SEALs BIKE AMERICA tour, a cross-country bicycle ride spanning 3,300 miles in 42 days, concludes in Ft. Pierce, FL on Saturday, November 6.  The tour started in Coronado, CA on Sunday, September 26 and concludes in Ft. Pierce, FL. on Saturday, Nov. 6.

WHAT:

Members of the SEALs Bike America Team will be greeted with a hero’s welcome during the Navy National UDT-SEAL Museum Muster XXV, the largest gathering of Naval Special Warfare operators.  The team is supporting the Naval Special Warfare Foundation, which provides tragedy assistance and family support for the Naval Special Warfare community.

U.S. Navy SEAL Medal of Honor recipient Michael Thornton; Admiral Eric T. Olson, USN, Commander, U. S. Special Operations; U.S. Rep. Tom Rooney (Florida-District 16) and NASA Astronaut CDR Christopher Cassidy

– Marty Jemison, U.S. Postal Service teammate of Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong
– Mike Badger, U.S. Navy SEAL, 65-years old, from Telluride, Colorado
– Rob Rambeck, U.S. Navy SEAL, 59-years old, from Puyallup, Washington
– Ron Watford, U.S. Navy, 40-years old, from Augusta, Georgia
– Paul Resnick, U.S. Coast Guard, 74-years old, from Brooklyn, New York

The SEALs Bike America team arrives Saturday, November 6 and is available for media interviews throughout the day.

DETAILS:

The SEALs Bike America Team will arrive at the UDT-SEAL Museum at approximately 2:45 pm on Saturday, November 6. The Muster will include the dedication of the UDT-SEAL Memorial to honor fallen Naval Special Warfare operators, The U.S. Navy Leapfrogs, a 5K Beach Run as well as live capability exercises.  The public is encouraged to attend the muster.
