Florida’s Alan Grayson Apologizes To The Dead

See Video on Home Page of Rep.  Alan Grayson’s Apology To The Dead

Florida Congressman Alan Grayson who blasted the Republicans last Tuesday in Washington for their refusal to work towards a solution on health care reform in which millions of Americans could benefit, apologized to the dead on Wednesday.

In making his presentation on Tuesday to Congress, the Florida Democratic  (Orlando, Eustis, Ocala) presented three posters which articulated the Republican Health Care Plan.  These were: (1) Don’t Get Sick (2) If You Do Get Sick (3) Die Quickly.

When calls were made for Grayson to apologize to Congress, the Congressman instead returned the following day saying, “I would like to apologize to the dead.  I apologize to the dead and their families that we haven’t voted sooner to end this holocaust in America.”   Grayson made these comments against the backdrop of a just released study from the Harvard School of Public Health that estimated some 44,789 Americans die annually because they have no health care insurance.
